New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) has great pleasure in announcing a long term agreement with Tony Veitch to extend his portfolio as a sports expert and content leader across the group.

Veitch will now not only feature on-air as host of the popular “Veitch on Sport” show (weekends 12-6pm on Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport) but will extend his audience reach and influence across the NZME group by providing sports content across publishing, digital, video and social media platforms.

The social media following of Veitch on Sport is already well established with Veitch’s prolific posts which deliver opinion, interviews and trending sports news having gained over 103,000 Facebook followers to date.

Veitch will work closely with NZME’s sports teams to position NZME as the market leader in sports journalism and coverage in New Zealand.

Mark Watson will now host all five Sportstalk programmes on Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport Monday-Friday 7pm- 8pm.
