The Newspaper Publishers’ Association (NPA) incorporating the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers’ Association (PANPA) amalgamated in 2012 with the Publishers’ Advertising Advisory Bureau (PAAB) and The Newspaper Works to form a new peak body. Called The Newspaper Works, we promote newspapers across print and digital platforms to advertisers, consumers, governments, shareholders, and the newspaper industry.

It has a participant base consisting of more than 1,000 newspapers and websites across the region. This includes every significant newspaper in Australia and New Zealand, as well as most English-language newspapers in South-East Asia and the South Pacific.

The Association’s annual Ad Awards embrace executive excellence, offering personal awards for ad manager of the year, display executive, online executive, best bundling solution, classifieds executive and creative services professional.

The awards continue to be updated to feature digital advertising solutions, including smartphones and iPads and other tablet computers.

The Awards also celebrate in-house creative excellence. These awards include advertising and campaigns for clients, plus advertising to promote the sale of newspapers and the power of advertising.
