NZME have announced the appointment of Nikki Stevens as the GM – Wellington and Australia Agency Markets.

Stevens was previously GM of Mediacom, where she held the position for nine years. Prior to that, she has done nine year stints at both Total Media and Y&R.

Stevens says, “After spending 20 plus years of my career within global advertising networks I am very excited to join NZME.  In an ever changing media environment, where flexibility, content and creativity is paramount, it’s the perfect place to take my diverse knowledge across clients, integrated media solutions, and most importantly people and culture.”

“I’m looking forward to working across all NZME platforms and brands, alongside their amazing talent and teams to deliver best in class media solutions for agencies and their clients.”

Paul Hancox, Head of Revenue at NZME says, “I am delighted to announce Nikki to the role, adding to the line-up of the new NZME Agency team. Wellington and Australia are incredibly important and successful markets for NZME and Nikki will add tremendous knowledge on both the client and media sides.”

“People of this calibre rarely become available and Nikki has a clear vision for the role. We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome her to the team.”

Stevens will commence her role later this month and will be based in the Wellington office from January.
