1 April, 2015

On 25 April 2015, New Zealand commemorates the centenary of the ANZAC landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. What followed in 1915 was a bitter eight-month campaign that helped to forge our nation.

To mark this extraordinary milestone, Newstalk ZB will broadcast a series of four hour-long Gallipoli documentaries. Each episode will be narrated by Newstalk ZB’s award-winning morning host, Leighton Smith, and produced by the Christian Broadcasting Association – winner of two gold medals and two silver medals at the 2014 New York Radio Festival.

Episode 2 On The Beach
