In the past 102 years, readers have eagerly snapped up copies to share stories about family milestones, school activities, farming, local body decisions, roading problems, church news, good luck stories and more."

In mid-2015, the heavy traffic bypass (aka Tauranga Eastern Link) will remove logging trucks, stock carriers, and all heavy vehicles from the main street and Te Puke will again become the peaceful little town where children grow up to tackle the world.

Consumer Perception

Te Puke presents an even gender split in its reader base.  A large proportion of these readers are home owners, who like new ideas to improve their home.

"Te Puke is the kiwifruit capital of New Zealand and is home to a range of nationalities including Pakeha, Maori, Indian, Nepalese, and Pacifica."
