2016 brings exciting changes to some of our radio line-ups here at NZME. Here’s a quick run down for you, or you can download a one page summary by clicking here.

Newstalk ZB

At Newstalk ZB, Kerre McIvor has moved to afternoons and is joined by Mark Dye. Two hosts with strong opinions will guarantee robust conversations on daily issues. Marcus Lush has returned to host nights from 8pm-12am. As one of New Zealand’s most beloved broadcasters Marcus is already engaging listeners in his off-beat presenting style.

Radio Hauraki

On Radio Hauraki, Jay Reeve is first man in with his Early Edition show from 5am. The Hauraki Breakfast with Matt Heath and Jeremy Wells runs 6am-10am. Alex Behan moves from nights to host days from 10am-2pm. Greg Prebble hosts afternoons from 2pm-4pm. Leigh Hart and Jason Hoyte’s Bhuja! is Hauraki’s new drive home from 4pm-6:30pm. Angelina Boyd rounds out the day from 6:30pm-12mn. Mikey Havoc has a new Friday night show this year. Mikey kick starts the weekend with Friday Night Havoc! from 7pm-10pm every Friday.

At Flava a brand new breakfast and drive line-up has arrived. Listeners now wake up to Sela Alo, Pua Magasiva and Tarsh Ieremia – The Wake Up Call 6am-10am weekdays. Pua Magasiva stars on Shortland Street. Hayden Hare plays all the tunes for your work day from 10am-3pm. Darryl Suasua aka Daz from Flava Nights has jumped to drive time 3pm-7pm. Astley Nathan moves into nights 7pm-10pm and Athena Angelou will be with you for those late night love songs and dedications from 10pm-12pm.

The Hits

The much loved Sarah Gandy is returning to the airwaves, taking up the 9am-12pm slot for The Hits weekdays in Auckland. Estelle Clifford will now help listeners relax, unwind and chill out after a long day at nights 7pm-12am. The Hits remaining on-air team stays the same, leading with Polly and Grant in the mornings from 6am-9am and Stace and Flynny in the afternoons from 3pm-7pm, along with awesome local shows around New Zealand!

Fletch, Vaughan and Megan will continue to lead the way from 6am-10am. Jase and PJ will drive listeners home from 3pm-7pm. Expect fresh, new exciting ideas and fun.

Brian Kelly starts your morning with all the music you love from 6am-10am, with Lorna Subritzky rounding out your work day from 10am-3pm. Murray Lindsay drives you home from 3pm-7pm and Rick Morin chills out the evening from 7pm-11pm.

Mel Homer continues on-air in Auckland from 8am-12pm. Mel combines the best music from the 80’s and 90’s, with the latest trends in dining, fashion, health, entertainment and all things Auckland.
