Radio Hauraki are doing what they do best next month; throwing a free party for Hauraki punters on the company credit card.

Across 10 days, the crew will mosey across New Zealand and host seven parties in seven cities. All of which, naturally, are free.

Shihad frontman Jon Toogood will be providing the tunes, and all of the parties will be held in bars that have on-site brewing facilities. Keeping it in the family, the first stop of the tour will be McCashins Brewery in Nelson – home to Leigh Hart’s Wakachangi Beer.

Mike Lane, Radio Hauraki’s Content Director, says it’s about time Brewery Tours became more of a thing. “I can’t count the amount of winery tours New Zealand has had roll through. I’m all for an occasional buttery chard but I think it’s time we got the brews involved. Plus, the breweries are all in town so the taxi home won’t cost you your first born.”
