NZME have announced an extended deadline for the 2015 NZME Advertising Challenge with nominations for the annual challenge, showcasing the best and brightest media and creative ideas, now extended until midnight, Friday 19 June.
NZME Group Director Commercial, Sandra King is delighted with the standard of entries already received from some of the country’s brightest creative minds but urges others to take advantage of the extended deadline and send in a nomination.
“The response to our inaugural Challenge last year was fantastic with the outstanding quality of entries. This year, entries received so far shows the bar is rising with exceptional talent showcasing why our media and creative minds are world-class.”
As a judge this year, King knows choosing a winner will be no easy feat for the respected and experienced industry judging panel.
“The secret for success lies in new thinking, experimentation and collaboration with NZME’s diversified channels,” King says. “It’s about creating synergy between NZME and creative and media agencies across all of our channels - digital, radio, events, print, experiential and ecommerce. Outside the box thinking that can be brought to life across NZME’s assets is what will excite the judges.”
The winning campaign will receive a $400,000 rate card media value (up from $250,000 in 2014) and a trip for two for the winning team, to attend the Festival of Media Asia Pacific held in Singapore in 2016.
